ARGENTINA
 | 2010 Montesquieu Juntarse Uco Valley
Our very first release presenting our project with Michel Rolland to create a range of wines together exclusively for Montesquieu clients. Our mutual passion for excellence resulted in our focusing on Michel's top parcels in the Uco Valley. Our 2010 Juntarse ("to join together" in Spanish) is a ground-breaking blend of Cabernet, Syrah and Malbec. The color is the darkest eggplant with roasted blackberry, peppered meats and violets on the nose. The body is decadent with rich plum jam, melted licorice, and chocolate-covered boysenberry. The finish is layered with spice and leather framing the fruit, complementing the statuesque tannins perfectly. Incredible depth and purity highlight this luxurious wine - a pinnacle achievement!

 | 2012 Montesquieu Mendoza Malbec
Deep magenta at the core with a slightly bricked rim. The nose offers hints of plum and black cherry with subtle spice notes. Velvety on the palate with strawberry jam and vanilla flavors, the smooth tannin is the perfect complement to the hints of dark chocolate and herbs in the finish. An easy wine to love and particularly enjoyable with a juicy roasted pork loin with lots of garlic and rosemary.

 | 2011 Mariflor Pinot Noir Mendoza
This beautiful Pinot Noir is the artistry of Michel Rolland, from his property in Mendoza, Argentina. There are beautiful floral notes, hints of earth, and a delicious mix of red and black cherry fruit that's only going to get better over the years.

FRANCE
 | Montesquieu Champagne Grand Cru Simon Gabriel Cuvée
75% Pinot Noir 25% Chardonnay from optimal hillside parcels in Mailly of 100% Grand Cru fruit. Each block was fermented and vinified separately, allowing for custom fermentation for each parcel and precision in the blending process. We chose zero dosage (Extra Brut designation) to capture all the richness and complexity that these grapes have to offer. The color is brilliant gold with very fine bubbles and excellent clarity. The nose is full of honeyed green apple, crème fraiche and brioche woven with smoky hazelnut and touch of almond. The palate is very rich but still delicate, bursting with exotic citrus and dried flowers. Hints of caramel open up to a creamy, expansive mid-palate and luxurious mouth feel. The finish showcases the racy, elegant style we love, a reminder of the power and structure that this Grand Cru can deliver. Vibrant, pulsing acidity brings out grapefruit and crushed rock minerality all the way through an amazingly long, precise and utterly fresh finish. Fitting for your finest of meals and occasions, or whenever a touch of the good life is warranted.

ITALY
 | 2010 Monti Coroni Amarone della Valipolicella
The 2010 vintage was great all over Europe, and Italy's famed Veneto region was no exception. After hand picking their vineyards at the perfect moment, the grapes are brought into the winery and left to dry on straw mats over the next couple months - the bunches are carefully turned over by hand every few days to avoid mildew and rot. Now during this time the grapes lose 40% of their weight but what's left to press is pure nectar. This Amarone is best is to decant a few hours before drinking to open up all of the flavors!

 | 2011 Crenshaw Merlot Sonoma County
This wine is definitely a go to bottle when it comes to food pairing - this wine really does it all! The key to this great Sonoma red is the perfect blend of rich fruit, depth, and complexity that always has you going back to this style of wine again and again. This merlot is perfect to pair with a grilled Hanger Steak or Pork Tenderloin. You'll be thrilled with either pairing!

 | 2011 Sahlia Cabernet Franc Napa Valley
This wine is a gorgeous example of what Cab Franc can be all about. Winemaker Camille Benitah knew exactly what to do with this incredible fruit and nailed the blend on this, 77% Calistoga Cab Franc together with 23% high elevation Oakville Cab Sauvignon, just the right touch of structure for this rich opulent red. The finish is super silky with a polished tannin that's perfectly integrated with the flavors of licorice, bay leaf, and peppered meats that go on forever. This Cab Franc is amazing after an hour in the decanter, but you can hold onto this for another decade easy if you want.

 | 2011 Colburn Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
A classic example of the elegance and complexity Pinot Noir achieves in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Light crimson in color, aromas of raspberry, sandalwood, and black tea soar from the glass, leading to a smooth palate of red cherry, strawberry jam, earth and mushroom. Subtle flavors of pomegranate and herbs permeate the wine alongside an effortless tannin and acid structure.

 | 2012 Morata Carneros Chardonnay
A classic example of Carneros Chardonnay with deep rich fruit and refreshing minerality. Pale gold in color, the nose offers grilled pineapple, toasted hazelnuts, and creamy citrus. Luscious flavors of poached pear and lemon curd grace the palate with a lovely acid and mineral streak running through it. Finishes firm with tangy acidity covered up in smoky butterscotch, crushed oyster shell, and crème fraiche. A rich savory seafood dish like poached Lobster with a lemon butter sauce would be a great match.
